- Your own Claude Code, on Claude Pro or higher, or an Anthropic API key. Anthropic bills that usage separately; it isn’t part of Studio’s price.
- ffmpeg and Python. The installer checks for them and offers to install them.
- Your own music. Stock images, icons and AI voices need the optional HeyGen tool, with its own account.

Your files stay on your computer and the video renders there. Claude Code sends your instructions and the content it reads to Anthropic to do the work.

Do I need video editing experience?+
No. Studio works from a brief, not a timeline. Add your material and describe the result.
Can I use my own footage and music?+
Yes, and the music has to be yours: Studio doesn’t supply any. Bring clips, photos, voice notes, links and licensed tracks. Stock images, icons and AI voices need the optional HeyGen tool.
What happens after the first cut?+
Give Studio another instruction: change the pacing, fix a caption, make a vertical version. Each change becomes a new version, v2, v3, and the earlier ones stay.
How do saved styles work?+
When a video looks right, save it as a style. Pick that style on your next project and Studio carries the look into the new material.
Does Claude cost extra?+
Yes. Studio uses your own Claude Code, and Anthropic bills that usage separately, either through your Claude plan or your API key. Studio’s price covers Studio only.
What do I get after payment?+
Your licence key, on the “You’re in” page and by email, with a block for your computer (Mac or Windows) to copy and paste into Claude Code. Claude Code installs Studio, activates it with your key and opens it. After that, open Studio from its app icon.
How many computers? What does “lifetime” mean?+
Two computers per key. Lifetime means the life of the product, including every 1.x update. Studio checks your licence online about every 30 days and keeps working offline for up to 14.
